Prophecy 101

I was brought up in a strict religious upbringing. The gifts of the Spirit were a thing of the past - a distant memory of things that don’t happen in this day and age.

Since then I’ve also been exposed to charismatic Christianity where every bizarre occurrence is a “sign” of the gifts of the Spirit and seen people totally deceived by almost occultic events.

Slap bang in the middle of all this was an event I experienced almost ten years ago. I was privileged to attend the Feast of Tabernacles in Israel in the Jubilee year since it’s rebirth. I was part of the International Christian Embassy of Jerusalem (ICEJ) conference held in God’s City in 1998.

I was travelling with the Director of South Pacific Island Ministries (SPIM) and his wife - dear friends of my parents going back decades. Every year, they bring along a group of delegates from one of the islands they minister to in the pacific region.

In 1998, I was travelling with a group of Tahitians who spoke only French and wore the most colourful costumes Jerusalem ever experienced. So much so, that they made national headlines. As an “adopted Tahitian”, I wore their national costume and was quizzed by many as to why I didn’t look like the rest of the group. I explained to them that I was just an Aussie travelling with the group.

The conference was held in Jerusalem’s main exhibition centre where you had your typical stalls in the foyer area with Christians and Jews trying to sell their spoils. It was here, during a break that something strange indeed happened.

I visited a stall and started chatting away with the owner who happened to be an Aussie Messianic Jew. Being Aussies, we clicked right away and she introduced me to her husband. Although he was a Messianic Jew also, he would have fit right in with the Hells Angels - such was his demeanour.

Almost right away, he asked me if I wanted to hear a message from the Lord. Thinking he was a little “charismatically” strange, I had no choice but to accept this invitation to hear from God from the Messianic bikie dude.

Before he went on his “Godly inspired spiel”, he asked me to look at his arm.

“Nice tatts”, I said as gawked at all his tattoos splattered all across his arms.

“No. Look at the hair on my arms”, he said pointing to hairs looking like someone threw a bunch of Viagra on his upright hairs all over his arms.

“So you have a lot of static electricity on you. Must be the carpet in this place”, I replied thinking to my self that that was a good line.

He walked over to someone standing near by and I saw his hairs fall down onto his arm. He walked over to me and they rose again. He repeated this one more time and declared it was I causing this.

Before I could say, “OK, maybe it’s me with the static then”, he told me that God had a word for me and if I was ready to hear it. OK by this stage, he had my attention and I wanted to hear what he had to say. And this is what he said:

“This is what the Lord says to you. I am going to use you as my tool first in your church and then in all the churches in Melbourne”.

And then he turned and walked away leaving me kind of shell shocked as to what all this meant. I think he knew I was from Melbourne in that his wife introduced me as a fellow Aussie. But still his words resonated within a deep part of me - something totally strange to experience.

Anyway, breakout finished and it was time to go back to the sessions. Next I went to a Bible Study session and took a seat in the back row and was reading my bible waiting for the session to begin when this lovely little old lady came up behind me and tapped me on the shoulder.

“Can I pray for you?” she asked.

“Sure. Go for it”, I answered still a little bewildered by what the Messianic bikie dude had just said. And so she placed her hands on my head and started to pray - in tongues.

Something in my spirit started to feel really awkward as she got more aggressive in her prayers. So I asked God the following, “Lord if this is something from you, please let me understand. But if this is of the enemy, put a stop to this right away.”

All of a sudden, she took away her hands from my head as if she got some kind of electric shock and scurried away looking back at me totally shell shocked. As you can imagine, my weird day just got a little weirder as I tried to gel all this things together and determine what on earth was going on.

That night I was talking to my friends from SPIM - Vic and Elsie Sclatter and I told them as to what happened. In sobering Godly wisdom, they explained to me what might have happened.

If the bikie dude was true in what he said, then I was to experience more dramatic spiritual attacks as I was now a marked man. Evil is always looking out for the means by which God will advance His Kingdom and now this knowledge was known to all.

I took this advice seriously as these guys had planted over 100 churches in the Papua New Guinea wilderness and have experienced demonic attacks modern science would fail to rationalise. What freaked me out more then that was that they openly state that there is more demonic activity in modern Melbourne than they experienced in PNG.

They asked me to commit this to prayer and wait on God.

As for the little old lady, they flat out mentioned that I had cast away a direct demonic attack on me by calling out to God when I felt totally strange during her “prayer’. This seemed to align itself with what they said about the bikie dude incident - that I would now be open to spiritual attack.

They also mentioned to keep guard on my spiritual walk in the coming years and that I may be open to more attacks as the enemy now knew God’s method of action in my area.

Well if it was just mere coincidence or fulfilled prophecy, I cant say. But since then my walk with Jesus took a battering and I have barely managed to keep it alive. I have struggled with sin more then ever and have had illness ruin my life on many fronts.

But I still remember the events as if they happened yesterday. Ten years on I still wonder what they meant and would love to see them played out in my life. Not so I can get a big head, but that God could choose me, of all the disgusting people on this earth, to bring forward His Kingdom. What an honour to work for my King!

Like when Mary must have buzzed out when the shepherds came into the manger and told them what the angels have said about her baby (Luke 2:8-20), I too treasure these things and ponder about them in my heart. Not that I’m going to give birth to the Messiah, but that He may choose me to fulfil a very specific purpose in His Kingdom in my home city that He decided to reveal to me in His earthly city of Jerusalem.

Lord if this was your word back then, may I not find peace until I achieve what you have set me to complete. Guide me Lord. Today. More than ever. And may I not despise this prophecy but test to be proven true.

Middle East Peace? Fat Chance…

Mid East

I read today that Mr Looney Tunes, George W Bush, refuses to rule out military action against Iran despite the report from the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) that “Tehran’s nuclear weapons program ended in 2003.”

What an embarrassing slap in the face to an Administration hell bent on going to war against Iran to facilitate their PNAC world view. Like the illegal invasion against Iraq, Bush and his cronies are using every trick in the book to convince a largely gullible and blindly “patriotic” American public who have been conditioned to the “imminent threat of terror.”

The report stated that Iran is incapable of developing nuclear weapons till at least 2015 and yet Bush has been pushing the idea that WW3 is on our doorstep because of Iran’s nuclear program.

For the record, I am not a Mr Ahmadinejad supporter. The guy is a Holocaust denier and is hell bent on the destruction of Israel. Problem is, he wants to throw sticks and stones against a country considered by many as a military superpower.

Put aside the military might of Israel and you have the supernatural provision of God at work. For the sake of His Name, He is collecting His people from amongst the nations and bringing them back to His land. And His might is at work in the provision of Israel…

“Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labour than she gives birth to her children. Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?” says the LORD. Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?” says your God.” Isa 66:8-9

The day after Israel declared independence, it’s surrounding Islamic nations declared war. It happened again in 1967 and 1973. The “give delivery” of God is truly a more powerful thing then the intentions of mankind.

Although the US is a supporter if Israel, at best this is because it is in their “national interest”. In reality the US really couldn’t care less of the well being of Israel. It seems as it’s the “expected thing to do” for an exiting Administration to broker a peace deal in the Middle East.

Like a “crowning glory” of a soon to be former President of the USA, each leader drags all Mid East parties to the negotiating table and attempts to bring peace to the region. Bush claims to be a Christian. If he really is, he should be aware of all the Old Testament prophecies regarding God’s land and His people living in it. It particular, he should be aware of the following scripture:

“I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.” Zech 12:2-3

Anyone with half a brain can see that the Mid East peace process is dead in the hands of man. Tensions will escalate to the point where “all the nations of the earth” (UN led??) will attack Israel.

But Bush seems to fail to understand this and his instead tried to implemented the “Road Map for peace” in his desire to “..seek a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians before he leaves office.” And after seven years in power, he now plans to visit the region for the first time. First time? What took him so long?

In the mean time, his rhetoric is increasingly anti-Iran despite Iran being no real threat to the Mid East. He fails to understand that US foreign policy is the sole threat to peace in the Mid East.

Like I said, I don’t support Iran’s leader and see him as a thug. But for the US to go to war against Iran is simply wrong. Iran is a stumbling block to the US’ efforts to control oil and it’s distribution around the world. Read this article for a comprehensive world view that will blow your mind away.

WW3 will be played out in the Mid East. My fear is the perpetrator will be the US. It’s actions will destabilise the region and it’s collaborations with Israel will make Israel a prime target for world wide retaliation.

But when the nations gather against her, Israel will be in the blessing of God:

On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.” Zech 12:3

When this Great War happens, it will trigger off the most amazing event in history. The Jews will finally have their eyes opened and look to Jesus:

“And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.” Zech 12:10

I’m sure most of you would have heard of that Scripture before. But when you put it in context with the rest of Zechariah 12, you see that the events leading up to this time could be very close indeed.

Jesus said that wars and rumours of wars will abound. Specifically the nations will gather against Israel. God will deliver His people and open their eyes to the reality of their Messiah. And then it’s party time for mankind:

“But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their fullness bring!” Rom 11:12

“For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?” Rom 11:15

So you do your thing Mr Bush. Why don’t you go off and retire now like your daddy and leave the rest of the world alone.

The Demon Seed - And Also Afterward

goliath.jpgThree of the most telling and chilling words in the whole Genesis 6 text are found in verse 4:

“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.” Gen 6:4

Apparently this unholy union wasn’t happening in pre-historic times only. The text says that whenever angels had sex with humans, the offspring was the Nephilim.

Let me paint the grand picture here. God declares war on Satan and states the battle will be played out between the seeds. This was very general so Satan tries to pollute the seed of man before the flood - and almost succeeds.

After the flood, history travels very quickly from Noah to Abraham. Then one day, God selects Abraham and tells him that through his seed, the nations of the world will be blessed. He is told that his descendants will spend 400 years in captivity in Egypt and then inherit the promised land.

Now Satan can narrow his attack. If God’s people were to dwell in Canaan in 400 years time, Satan had 400 years to corrupt the seed of man in that area. Indeed scripture indicates that the area was already well under way in being corrupted anyway.

Fast forward to Moses leading the Hebrews out of Egypt. As they near the promised land, 12 spies were sent out on a recon mission to check out the land they were about to enter. The story they came back with was the cause of the 40 years wandering of the Hebrews in the desert.

“However, the people who dwell in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large. And besides, we saw the descendants of Anak there. 29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the Negeb. The Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the hill country. And the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and along the Jordan.”

“Then the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we are.” 32 So they brought to the people of Israel a bad report of the land that they had spied out, saying, “The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people that we saw in it are of great height. And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.” Number 33:28-29, 31-33

Despite Joshua and Caleb pleading to the people that God will deliver them against these genetic freaks, the Hebrews doubted God and spent the next 40 years wandering the desert.

Next time someone asks you, “why did Israel spend 40 years in the desert”, now you know. Next time someone asks you, “why is God so cruel that he orders the slaughter of women and children when Israel entered the promised land?” You can know in your heart that what God was orchestrating was the cleansing of the demon seed in Canaan. These were not normal humans but genetic mutations as a result of an unholy union.

Even King David had an encounter with the Nephilim. As the story goes, Israel did enter the promised land and defeated most of the people. Some they didn’t and this continued to play havoc. One such people were the Philistines - and in particular, Goliath.

Goliath was a giant. Him and his four brothers (now you know why David gathered 5 stones - he was gonna whack Goliath and his brothers) were direct descendants of the races of giants in Canaan. These freaks had 24 fingers and toes - 6 on each limb - something apparently normal with demon DNA.

So if you still think the Nephilim have nothing to do with our understanding of scripture, I hope you are starting to sit up and take notice. They were the reason why God destroyed the earth with a flood. They were the reason why the Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years. David defeated Goliath.

From here on, the seed of the woman is promised through the line of David. Widespread corruption of human DNA is no longer needed as now our enemy has a family to deal with. Just a casual reading about the story of David and his descendants tells a story wrought with sin and it’s devastating effects.

Remember, this was an ongoing war and Satan even managed to thwart the line of David. But God, in His wisdom found a way around it and led to the virgin conception of Mary. Even a reading of the events leading up to Jesus’ birth and early childhood reveal an ongoing Satanic inspired attempt to crush the seed of the woman. But Satan failed and the seed of the woman was born on the earth. His name is Jesus.

Revelation has a much better description of these events:

“And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth.

And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems. His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child he might devour it.

She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne, and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days.” Rev 12:1-6

The tale of the two seeds. It’s still being played out in our day. After all, Jesus says that as in the days of Noah, so shall it be when He returns. A huge event happened with the Nephilim in WW2. Next time I will delve into the mind of Hitler and what the Nephilim had to do with his wicked plans.

USA - Police State

Lately, I’ve copped a bit of criticism for the political and conspiracy leanings of my blog. As an Aussie, some may say I have no idea or have no right to criticize what happens in the States. However I beg to differ.

Australia is part of the ANZUS treaty which dictates that if the US, Australia or New Zealand ever declare war, we support each other. So by default, my country has been dragged into the chaos of Mr George Bush and his cronies.

This sucks for many reasons. But what really gets me is how blind most Americans are to what’s happening in their own country. Most liberals vote Democrats cause they can’t stand conservatives. Most conservatives vote Republic cause they can’t stand liberals.

Christians tend to vote Republican due to issues like abortion and gay marriages. Non Christians tend to vote Democrats for the same reasons. And while there are legitimate reasons in this reasoning, they only scratch the surface of more sinister underlying issues.

America - the most powerful nation in the world and the salesman for democracy is falling apart due to the power hungry, money driven individuals ruling it. You think the President is in charge? You dreamer. You think policy - especially foreign policy - is party driven? You border on delusion.

The Bush Administration has fast tracked massive change in the US right under your noses and you have no idea. Moral Americans disgusted at Clinton’s antics and petrified by the atrocities of 911, are ignoring the massive changes happening without giving it any thought - let alone analyzing what the hell is going on the the worlds most powerful country.

Let this be a wake up call. George W Bush has sold out on you. Your beloved Constitution is not worth the paper it is written on any longer. The land of the free will, in the near future, be a chapter in a history book in a classroom of the next super power of the world. You are about to lose your status among the nations. You are a puppet of the New World Order.

Many are awakening to this reality and the cronies are aware of this. And this is why you are becoming a police state without you knowing or caring about it. I hope the following clip is sobering for you.

You may think I am anti-American. Believe me, this is far from the truth. I love the US as the best of mankind is a strong export from the US. But when I see warning signs left, right and center and few people even bother to sit up and take notice cause it shatters their conception of reality, I get alarmed.

As a Christian, I am aware of the turmoil prophesied on mankind. Problem is, most Christians are into the “let’s find a church that best suits my needs” instead of diligently studying scripture to try to understand the time they live in.

Prophecy paints a chilling description of the future of mankind. As a student of prophecy, the best advice given to me was to not try to predict things with prophecy. Instead, once things happen, prophecy is understood.

Having said that, pieces to the puzzle are always falling into place. The collapse of the Soviet Union allowed massive Jewish migration to Israel. The EU is seeing a Godless Europe unite like never before. There are wars and rumours of wars all over the place.

Jesus said that these things will happen. The Father said that He will gather his people back to their land. There are more Jews in America then in Israel. I have always believed that the collapse of America will occur soon in order for the Jews to return to their homeland.

Is the up coming police state and economic collapse going to be the catalyst to this happening? I don’t know. But it will be interesting to see how things pan out.
