I learned of the book through the Cornwall Alliance which is a breath of fresh air in today’s world.

One of my favorite points that Spencer makes is that any rights we as humans confer to “mother nature” should be those which benefit us in some way. Or, that the inanimate earth does not inherently possess any “rights” in the same way that humans do. Unfortunately too many people are so wrapped up nowadays with the green movement that they would apparently be in favor of saving it to the detriment of humans. Another one of my favorite quotes:

“In general, environmental policy decisions that favor nature over people are based upon worldviews or religious beliefs that are separate from the science. Like it or not, humans must alter their environment to fit their needs. It is what we do, and we should not apologize or feel guilty about it. Science doesn’t care what we do about our environment – only people care. Any rights that we confer upon nature through environmental policies should only be those that benefit humanity. Anything else verges on a state-supported Pagan religion.” pg 180

Bringing up Adam is a very interesting point. Regardless of interpretation, whatever is happening in that text must be different from what Adam was doing. And by where the phrase is found in the story, even different from the sacrifice offered by Abel. That sure seems like a point towards interpreting this text as some sort of perversion of proper practice.

Speaking of UFOs, did you hear the reports around the earthquake in Chile? I was reading this article (http://io9.com/5498748/people-in-chile-report-ufos-lights-emerging-from-the-ocean-before-the-earthquake) and the descriptions used (notably of luminous beings) is very…familiar.

Logic would also dictate that the 1300 years from Enosh to the flood would have been ample time for the whole world to become corrupt climaxing at the time of Noah.

And lastly, if man only began to call on the name of the Lord then, what were they doing before hand? It would be interesting to see if Adam was still alive at this point. He walked with God and would have known exactly what "calling on the name" would have meant.

To me, everything is pointing to the other direction – this is the time were mankind experienced it's second fall. The mingling of seeds. And the scary thing is that "seed mingling" is again alluded to in Daniel when it talks about end times.

Have a sneaking suspicion that the UFO phenomenon might be the catalyst for this.

Thanks for stopping by. I too am perplexed as I watch the world gnarl its teeth at the apple of God's eye. Piece by piece, the end time puzzle is being put together – and it just seems accelerated these days – in particular with whats happening with Turkey. I used to say that for end time prophecy to explode into our reality, it will take the turning of Turkey. For years, they were trying to get into the EU and now that that reality is not going to happen, they've turned their back on Europe, on NATO and on Israel – and embracing radical Islam.

However I didn't write that article – it was by Leslie Gelb – an interesting figure to say the least – like being President Emeritus of the CFR (a global think-tank largely pushing for a NWO)

I agree with you, Obama won't achieve anything. He is weak and spineless and, I believe, working to a sinister agenda. But like you said, God is in the business of impossible – and to protect His people, watch Him do something amazing in the very near future!

It seems to me that that is what the people on the aid flotilla were doing, and that the government of Israel was doing its utmost to prevent them.
