To be a supporter of Israel these days is to go against the norm. This world seems to take delight in bashing this country to no end.
Despite this, I am here to say that I am a Biblical Zionist. I believe in the right for Israel to exist and I believe in the right for the nation to defend itself against an enemy hell bent to destroy it.
Sure, not all they do is right as they are governed by fallen people like you and me. And I’ve also heard of the so called “conspiracy theories” about the Jewish nation.
But all this is nothing new. Even at it’s conception, was a conspiracy to get rid of a favoured son…
“They saw him from afar, and before he came near to them they conspired against him to kill him. They said to one another, “Here comes this dreamer. Come now, let us kill him and throw him into one of the pits. Then we will say that a fierce animal has devoured him, and we will see what will become of his dreams.” Gen Gen 37: 18-20
But later in the story, it is declared..
“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.” Gen 50:20
The Zionist movement is seen with contempt by many. And like Joseph’s brothers, many have contributed to the birth of modern Israel with ulterior motives and continue to do so.
But through it all, is my good and great God, working out his purpose through the actions of mankind and allowing the nation of Israel to be reborn and to grow in strength and number.
You see, God is the ultimate Zionist and it is the desire of His heart to see the nation of Israel reborn and to gather it’s people back to it. There are numerable Scriptural references to this and an example of which is..
“As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness. And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land. And I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the ravines, and in all the inhabited places of the country.” Eze 34:12-13
Make no mistake, God is the ultimate Zionist and for any Muslim or Westerner to point his finger against the nation of Israel, is for him to stand opposed to the will of the Creator – somewhere I never want to find myself in.
I celebrate in the fact that God has caused this non Jewish heart of mine to be a Zionist and I delight in what He is building into this country. Below is a video which gives but a glimpse of the reality of Israel despite it’s opposition.
And to further set myself against the trend of the western world, I present to you a music video by UK Jewish rapper “Antithesis” – who has recently made the aliyah to Israel – further proof that God is at work gathering His own.
I celebrate at what I see God is doing with His people. And I look forward to stage two of His plan – the day He introduces them to His Son. This is what I am looking forward to seeing once the regathered eyes are opened..

On September 20, 2000, The world was shocked to view the footage of a 12 year old boy hiding behind his father while caught in cross fire between Israeli and Palestinian forces.
Tragically, the boy, Muhammed al-Durrah and his father, Jamal al-Durrah, were killed and the footage spread like wild fire through out the western world thanks to footage taken by France 2 camera man Talal Abu Rahma.
In typical fashion, the world crucified Israel for it’s abuse and heavy use of fire power over the innocent Palestinian population. And Muhammed al-Durrah quickly became the Intifada Icon.
However, what most people don’t realize is that there are many holes in this story and subsequent investigations reveal that the whole event was staged and exploited against the Israeli’s. This is aptly covered by the following video and covered in the Wikipedia article on the incident.
This incident sparked the interest of Pierre Rehov – the pseudonym of a French filmmaker who happens to be Jewish. Since this incident, he has produced a number of films on the Arab-Israeli conflict. His YouTube account states, “Those clips are not politically correct. But the truth is rarely politically correct.”
In an age which is more than ready to condemn Israel and it’s hardline stance to protect itself, these documentaries are a must view in order to educate yourself to the realities this nation faces.

Mosab Hassan Yousef – the son of one of the 7 founders of Hamas, Sheikh Hassan Yousef. Born in a world of violence in Israel and thrown into the middle of Islamic radicalisation, he now spends time surfing the shores of the west coast of the USA as a follower of Jesus.
But in the years between, Joseph, as he is now known in the West, was exposed to things no child should. Imitating his father, he rose to become the President of the Islamic Youth Movement which eventually led to his arrest, beating and torture by Shin Bet – Israel’s Internal Security Service.
Whilst in custody, Joseph learned of the torture tactics Hamas carried out on their own people and this was the catalyst to him becoming a spy for Shin Bet – The Green Prince.
But I needed to know more about this fascinating character and have begun digging the web to find more. What intrigues me is that he stated that he spied for Shin Bet not so much to help their cause, but to further his own. Have a listen to his interview with the BBC to learn more..
And what is his cause? Interview after interview, he sets out to expose the god of Islam as a liar and a sham. Joseph has not turned his back on his people – he simply wants to expose the lie of Islam to his people. Have a listen to the following interview for a typical example.
This has of course greatly angered those he has left behind. Even his father, one of the seven founders of Hamas has now disowned his son – knowing full well that by doing so exposes his son to an assassins bullet.
“I, Sheikh Hassan Yussef… my wife, sons and daughters announce that we have completely disowned the man who was our oldest son and who is called Mosab”
This has now been confirmed to be the case in a statement by the al-Qaida-affiliated Global Islamic Media Front released a statement written by Abu al-Harith al-Ansari. Read up on the story here for more information, but the crux of it is captured in the following quote:
“If he comes back to Islam great, but if he does not, his fate is as an infidel without honor. The prophet Muhammad said, “Whoever alters his religion, kill him [Ansari’s font changes].” He should not have proper burial rights and he should not be buried with Muslims.”
Joseph escaped the hatred of Hamas – even though he is the son of Hamas. Fox News Channel ran an excellent expose on how the son of Hamas escaped hatred of the region…
Baptised in 2005, Joseph was drawn to Jesus by the words uttered by Him…
“But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.” Luke 6:27
These words must have been living water to a soul dying of thirst in a land that quenches anything good and nourishing. Jesus, reached down and grabbed the attention of the son of Hamas by the words He uttered 2000 years ago and, in doing so, has completely reversed the life of an individual who has the ability to create shockwaves.
What follows is a couple of interviews Joseph has had with Christian groups – explaining his faith and, time and time again, attacking the god of Islam in light of what he is now contrasting to the God of the Bible.

What I like is a post script Joseph put in his book. It goes like this…
“So if you meet me on the street, please don’t ask for advice or what I think this or that scripture verse means, because you’re probably already way ahead of me. Instead of looking at me as a spiritual trophy, pray for me, that I will grow in my faith and that I won’t step on too many toes as I learn to dance with the bridegroom.”
Mosab Hassan Yousef – I for one, welcome you as a dancer to the bridegroom instead of a dancer to Hamas. I welcome your simple steps with the bridegroom over any expertise in your dancing with Hamas.
Now that I have your attention with that headline, please read on. I’m a Christian and I hate the theory of evolution. I despise it like not much else on this planet.
But what drives this hatred is not my faith. It’s the pathetic science behind the theory. Please don’t get me wrong, I am not anti-science whatsoever. In fact I love science.
But true science gathers facts and then applies logic to the facts to determine scientific reality. Evolutionary biology, along with other “evolutionary” sciences is the total opposite. It assumes a philosophical reality and then applies this mindset in twisting the facts to align them to it’s philosophy.
Say hello to the theory of evolution – one of the world’s newest religions. Many have said that it takes more faith to believe in the theory of evolution then it does to believe in God. Oh, and if you’re a scientist who questions evolution, well I’ve got bad news for you.
Get ready to be slammed by your community. Get ready to be labelled a religious nut pursuing “bad science” in the pursuit of justifying your faith. In other words, get ready to be accused of doing what mainstream evolutionary scientists already do.
Evolution fails to address the most basic questions raised of our reality in this universe. While we all seem to agree in the Big Bang, that is, in the beginning, there was nothing and, all of a sudden, this nothing exploded and gave birth to our universe. Up until this point, we are OK.
But the laws of cause and effect scream that there must be a reason why “nothing suddenly became something” – and something so amazing and organised and “rule following” that it demands an answer to a question:
WHO SET THESE RULES IN THE FIRST PLACE?
For example, how would a simple explosion of nothing result in the force of gravity? What caused all the elements to form? Who or what is the architect of light, atoms, protons, neutrons and how they all interact with each other?
Surely random chaos is a brilliant mind to create such a reality! I bow to the god of random chaos – you are a true genius!
This sounds so absurd doesn’t it? And yet, it’s this mindset that needs to be explored if you believe in the theory of evolution. If you follow through it’s logic, you arrive at random chaos.
So although I used the title of this post to draw you in, I do truly believe that evolution is dead – simply because of the science. You throw in the theological perspective also and you will find evolution in such a bad place that even it’s most stern supporters wouldn’t even want to be associated with it with a 10 foot pole – that is if human pride didn’t get in the way.
Watch this space: In the years to come, the theory of evolution as we know it will be laughed upon as much the theory that the earth is flat.
And much of this will be due to the new science of intelligent design. Birthed by the necessity to explain the gaping holes in evolution and the birth of the areas such as molecular biology and information sciences, intelligent design does one thing very well – it gathers fact and then applies logic to it to determine scientific reality.
But instead of approaching science in the way it should be approached, the evolution crowd is “oh so ready” to slap you as an idiot if you don’t adhere to their religion – I mean “science.” To the point where you will be discredited, mocked and ridiculed and labelled a nut case.
The film, “Expelled – No Intelligence Allowed” – by Ben Stein addresses this mindset. To be sure, he has already been crucified on the alter of the evolutionary religion – check out sites such as this and this – old clichéd forms of attack that mean…well nothing really. The attack against Stein is thick and fast – kind of EXACTLY like Scientologists retaliating. Anyone with half a brain would see that these critics have a lot to loose and go after Stein aggressively.
However, what I enjoyed watching was an interview Stein had with the highly respected, reformed Theologian, RC Sproul – of Ligoniers Ministries. Sproul is no small fry in the intellectual world and has an engaging, in depth conversation with Stein about his movie. At the end, Stein’s summation of RC is, “Holy Cow – you’re a smart guy! Where did you learn about all this stuff?”
Maybe, just maybe, RC’s heart and mind have been renewed to reflect the mindset of the Person who is the “Intelligence” behind intelligent design!

Get a taste of the film with Stein interviewing Richard Dawkins. Richard, in the years to come, you are the one who will be proved to be one of the biggest idiots this planet has ever had the “privilege” to host. Welcome to the “Stupid Club”.
Spend an hour to watch this film and tell me what you think. While I do think that radical Islam is a major threat to sovereign nations – as it has been for centuries – I watch this and also think, “how much of a western slant does this film portray?”
This is especially in the light that I think 911 is one big cover up. Do a search on this blog and you will get my mindset on this issue.
But I also believe that radical Islam is a threat that we in the western world, have no real grasp of understanding. While we tap away at our keyboards updating our status updates on Facebook and Twitter, we have a huge bunch of fanatics hell bent to do as much trouble as possible in the name of “allah” – at best a moon god demon.
And it sure has taken off!. But in keeping with the theme of using technology to help with your studies on Israel, let me draw your attention to an awesome “synth” I found on Jerusalem – in particular, the Western Wall. This synth consists of a total of 746 photo’s synthed at 100%. In lay terms, this is one hell of an awesome synth!
Having been to Israel in 1998, on place I found really touching was the Western Wall. This section of the Old City of Jerusalem contains the wall of the Second Temple dating back to King Herod’s time. More notably, it was this Temple that Jesus Christ frequented during his brief visit to planet earth. Once you visit this place, you are changed. Forever.
Here is where this technology is so powerful. Below is a synth with 746 photo’s all joined together in perfect harmony of the Western Wall area. Before you have a play with it, let me draw your attention to one of it’s awesome details.
This is the view of the Western Wall as I approached it after winding through a bunch of side alleys. To walk into this open area and look at this site and let it sink in as to what you are actually looking at, is a mind blowing experience. You won’t know what I’m talking about until you actually experience it for yourself. As you can see, this is a panoramic view of the entire courtyard and contains heaps of detail. This is just 1 of the 746 photo’s in this synth. Let me show you another..
This is a close up of the Western Wall where Jews place written prayers in the cracks in the wall of the Second Temple as they pray to God. You just need to spend a couple of minutes watching this and you are blown away at how they revere and call out to God in the prayers.
