LayGuy

Well like my title says, I am just a lay guy. I have never written a book, never gone to Bible College, and never been anyone of great importance actually when I come to think about it.

I am not a preacher, nor a teacher – cause those guys get judged twice as hard and scraping through on a single judgment is more than enough for me. Nope, I’m just a lay guy living in Australia with a full time job, a wife with 2 kids and serve in my church. Having said that, I am now being asked to share the odd message or two at my church.  But I promise to remain lay at all costs!

Layguy.com is my place to vent, my place to record and my place to capture my feelings about the world and how I see it.  I am a Christ follower, I hate religion and I hold the nation of Israel in high regard.

However, at the same time, I know my struggles, I can be judgemental, and I’m not a Jew.  So you can say that I am a walking contradiction.  That’s OK to me – I am a work in progress and simply a LayGuy.
