There is a Christian version of YouTube out there called “GodTube” - 10 points for lack of creativity guys! The again, why not piggy back on a runaway Internet success huh?

While I was checking it out, I came across these really cool videos based on the current PC/Mac spoofs we see on TV these days. Absolutely love these clips as they show the typical “civilised” and largely out of touch form of Christianity many non-churched people hate - for the lack of a better word.

Full of “Christianese” and cliche, the good old PC is made to look like a bit of a dork while the young and hip Mac is made to look relevant and real. I really enjoy this type of discussion as it highlights major issues the civilised protestant Christian church needs to address if it is to become real and relevant in today’s culture.

If you have time, check out the comments at www.godtube.com and you will find that these video’s are causing a fair bit of angst among the more traditional Christian types. I guess the video’s strike a raw cord in many people - especially the more conservative.

For the record, I love my PC over any Mac! I tried loving the Mac many times but I just don’t diggit!
