I can’t stand Tom Cruise - mainly because of his pathetic conviction on Scientology. The way that religion manipulates people and intimidates critics is disgusting to say the least.
However as an actor, I like watching Tom. One of my favourite movies is Minority Report - a real mind twisting, techno gadget film. A geek flick to say the least. Some of my favourite scenes are when Cruise is manipulating the almost holographic computer displays as they search their database for would be killers and ways to prevent the crime before it happens.
It’s super cool and I often wonder when that kind of technology will be around cause most times I am online or on the PC, I have a gazillion things happening at once. Having one input device, the mouse, seems like such a waste of resources.
So this morning I wake up and check my feeds and thanks to John Chow, I stumble on this beauty…
